FCTA Code of Conduct

(Applies to all vehicles, bus stops, & buildings)

  1. Pay the correct fare when boarding

  2. Respect others at all times

  3. No profane or vulgar language on FCTA property

  4. Do not defecate, urinate, or release other body fluids on the bus

  5. Radio, cassette, cd, music player with headphones only with the volume level so that others can't hear it

  6. Do not abuse, threaten or attack other passengers or the bus operator

  7. Do not board bus under the influence of alcohol or drugs

  8. Do not engage in lewd or offensive conduct or indecent exposure

  9. Do not place anything on the floor that may roll or move when unattended

  10. Properly controlled “service animals” accompanying disabled persons are the only animals permitted

  11. Be polite, leave the front seat available for senior citizens and disabled people

  12. Prohibited items include, but not limited to:  Hazardous Materials, Explosives, Knives, and Dangerous Liquids

  13. No smoking, drinking, or eating in FCTA vehicles.

  14. All passengers are required to abide by applicable safety belt regulations.

  15. Please remain seated until the bus comes to a complete stop.

  16. All passengers must be fully clothed, including shirts and shoes.

*Violations will be reported to the local authorities for disposition.  Buses are equipped with audio/video recording devices. 

Carry-On Packages:

To provide safe, reliable transportation service to the public, we must limit carry-on packages to what the boarding passenger can safely bring aboard at one time. 

Security:

  1. When exiting a vehicle, make sure to take all belongings.

  2. Do not accept packages from strangers or agree to carry any packages from one location to another.

  3. Report any suspicious packages, people or activity to your driver or FCTA immediately.

Location

Our main office is located at 302 Eastwood Drive Fulton, Kentucky. 

FCTA also has an office at 3414 State Highway 45 North in Mayfield that is utilized mostly by Drivers to eat lunch, work on paperwork, and complete other tasks during their workday in the area. Some Drivers begin their workday there now.

 

Applications to become a FCTA Driver may be picked up at either office in Fulton or Mayfield

Operating Hours

8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday - Friday. Demand Response ride hours are currently 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Our front lobby is open 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. It has an ADA accessible entryway.
